All
lessons require a 12-24-hour cancellation notice in order to fill
the riding lesson slot or client will be charged. In the event
of inclement weather, clients will be notified of rescheduled
date. Lesson packages are valid for a 30 day period only it is the responsibility of the rider to schedule make up lessons in the event of inclement weather 30 day policy can be waived.
Make up lessons must be completed within 30 days no refunds on lesson packages.
Safety
always comes first. All lesson programs are catered specifically
to horse and rider's abilities. Lesson horses are show quality. Each horse and rider is trained
on an individual basis at a pace that is comfortable and most
condusive to inherent growth with lessons conducted in private & semi private format only to insure quality instruction.
Talisman Farm is the (DBA) business entity for Esther Hillner, which consists of horse training, riding instruction and dressage & jumping clinics. Lease & lesson horses are subject to availability, riders weight restriction not to exceed 200 pounds. Auditing of lessons always welcome and by appointment only. Twin Palms Stable charges a $10 haul in fee.

Founded by Sidney Knotts, the Horses 4 Heros program is making horse back riding and boarding affordable and accessible for the heroes in our community, including the families and personnel of military, police officers, fire fighters, nurses and school teachers. Special rates for this program: lessons/horse training flat rate of: $30- 1 hour private lesson or horse training session. *COLLEGE OF SOUTHERN NEVADA HORSEMANSHIP CLASSES. Learn the fundamentals of horse care, grooming, safety with riding programs for beginner showmanship in English; dressage, hunter/jumper, beginner vaulting. Class cost is $300 for 8 weeks. *GIRL SCOUTS AND BROWNIE HORSEMANSHIP PROGRAM. special 12 week semi private horse lesson package for the Girl Scouts of Frontier Council. Come and learn everything you need to know about horsemanship and riding with a three to one ratio. The girls will not only learn how to ride, but will learn about care and equestrian career paths Cost is $360 per girl Classes offered saturday- vaulting horsemanship classes and sunday horsemanship classes.

LESSON
AND TRAINING FEES
Lessons and horse training are interchangeable
as noted below. Lease
and lesson horses available.
Individual
lessons or training outside of the Northwest side of town is
an additional $10.00 charge. If three or more lessons established
outside the NW perimeter, rates will remain as indicated.
Lesson and training recommendations are designed to insure the progression of horse and rider.
Suggested requirements for Competitive Show Riders in Program
-Minimum of lessons (2) twice a week
-Ride or audit clinics with Will Faerber or other clinicians through out the year
Requirements for Pleasure Riders in Program
-Minimum of (1) lesson per week, must be consistent in attending lessons to insure progress in riding abilities
- For riders at novice level and above audit or participate in clinic sessions with Will Faerber.
Suggested program for Training Horses
-Minimum of 2 training sessions per week
-Owner to be present to observe training session, tack up, groom and cool horse out, if owner can not be available a $25.00 groom fee per each training session will be applied to accomidate an additional 30 minutes to training time, if owner can not be present, scheduling of training horse will be accomodated at trainers perogative, in order to stay on schedule with other lessons and training horses
-Owner to follow up on weekly "homework" assignments to work on with horse outside of training session, to insure training horse is receiving up to 4-5 days of continued training.
