TO
QUALIFY FOR HIGH POINT AWARDS
1. Horse and rider must qualify together in one or more of The
Desert Dressage Series for October 2004 through October 2005.
2. Qualifying rounds must be ridden prior to The Desert Dressage
final series in October 2005.
3. Qualifying rounds must be in the same division and same horse
and rider combination.
4. To qualify, horse & rider must complete in divisions
ie: Intro A & B, Training Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 etc. You do
not have to compete in all four test to qualify, although the
more tests you ride the more points you will accumulate. You can
not transfer points to a different division ie: if you
a riding Intro and the decide to move up to Training level you
can not transfer the points you have accumulate in Intro to Training
division. However, you are still welcome to move up a division
if you choose.
5. Points are awarded up to 4th place in their respective division.
(Example: 1st = 4 pts., 2nd place = 3 pts., 3rd place = 2 pts.,
4th place =1 pt.)
6. Ties: If still tied, the best score of the Collective marks
of the Dressage shall prevail. If still tied, placing and awards
are to be duplicated.
7. Horse and rider combination to complete a division in Desert
Dressage Series competition in order to claim prizes. Horse and
rider may ride in a level higher than their qualifying rounds,
but not in a level lower than your qualifying rounds in competition
ie: You can not start the series at Training Level and
then decide to move down to Intro Level.
8. High Point Prizes: Ribbons and prizes to Champion and ribbons
to Reserve Champion in each division.
* Dressage Series high point championship to be presented at the
October 2005 show.

HORSE AFFAIR
Exhibitors Vendor Booth Space to be provided at each of the show
series. Percentage of vendor/exhibition booth costs will benefit
two local animal charities. Used tack sale will be provided and
we are also looking for any interested vendors that would like
to set up booths for arts, crafts, jewelry, tack and
soforth. Vendor sign up forms available August 30th
