Talisman Farm is the only European classical riding center in Las Vegas in which we educate our riders in the art of classical riding. Our program has been designed by Will Faerber a classical riding master whose many credentials include riding with Nuno Oliveira.

To be successful in the show ring a rider must be taught fundamentally in Dressage in order to understand the biomechanics of the horse and how a horse should be trained correctly (no short cuts - no gimmicks) horses in our program are developed with proper top line & ridden round with consistent training in classical dressage gymnastics to develop mentally and physically then introduced to jumping where as the jumping round is ridden with the same elegance & finesse as one would ride a dressage test.

It's very disheartening that training methods or "modern" training, has deviated from the true classial traditions and is sadly becoming a lost art. However with the mentoring of Classical Riding Master Will Faerber our unique European Training Program adherse to preserving the true classical values and tradition of which humane treatment of training of the horse is foremost before the need of the rider. Every horse is an individual in our program and does not have a set time schedule , so training is catered to their physical needs, abilities and mental well being. Riders in our program are educated in the classical training philosophy by clinicing or audit regulary with Will Faerber. Our clinics offer video lectures and demonstrations to enlighten riders about the art of true correct riding as Master Nuno Oliveria so elequently demonstrated in his time.

On a personal note, I have loved horses since the time i could start walking and am so very fortunate that in my early riding career to have had the opportunity to learn and ride with Olympic riders and international coaches which enables me to bring forth years of hands on experience, in training and in competitive show riding. I have trained, and shown various breeds of horses over the years and remain active as a competitor in dressage, hunter/jumpers and three day eventing and continue my riding education to this day by clinicing regularly to make me a well rounded trainer & riding instructor, the knowledge gained in this sport is never ending and each horse that comes into my life teaches me something new.

My clientele is diverse & includes dedicated; children & adult beginners, as well as intermediate level competitors ,all of which are conducted in private & semi private lesson formats to insure personalised instruction. I personally do not believe in group lessons as my program is about top quality instruction not quantity.
